The Diversity Scouts are peer mentors and the first contact point for students from all faculties, offering assistance and support for orientation at the FAU, especially for first-year students. The Diversity Scouts are trained each summer semester on diversity topics and diversity competence and can advise students in their diverse study and life situations. They offer referral advice centrally in the Learning Lab in the main library and in the Student Service Centres of the faculties.
Online consultation hours
Even if the office hours in the university library have to be cancelled, the Diversity Scouts are still available! You can always send us an E-mail. We now offer you an online referral service during the previous office hours! Via video chat we can help you with your concerns. The times are as follows:
Monday, 4 – 6 pm
Tuesday, 10 – 12 o’clock
Wednesday, 4 – 6 pm
Thursday, 4 – 6 pm
